Proctosigmoidoscopy

Evening prior to exam

1. Castor oil 2 oz. at 4:00 p.m. or can substitute 10 oz. of Mag Citrate

2. Light Evening meal at regular time

3. Nothing to eat after midnight

Day of exam

1. Use a Fleets enema one to two hours before coming to the office. (You may to repeat if the first one does not come out clear.)
